Macon man arrested after his brother is stabbed

A Macon man was arrested late Wednesday night after his brother was seriously stabbed.

Michael Antwain Gray, 29, of a Plant Street address, faces multiple charges after police were called to the 3200 block of Matheson Drive about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to a news release from the Macon Police Department.

The brothers got into a fight when Michael Gray allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed 30-year-old Tavarus Gray in the upper torso, the release stated.

Tavarus Gray was taken to The Medical Center of Central Georgia, where he underwent surgery.

Michael Gray is in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center charged with aggravated assault family violence, drug possession and interfering with government property.

He is accused of kicking and damaging the rear window of a patrol car in his 11th arrest since 2003, the release stated.
