Warner Robins man killed in pedestrian accident

A Warner Robins man died Monday night after he was hit by a van in the 1300 block of Corder Road.

Daniel Moncrief, 32, was walking in the road when he veered into the path of a white van driven by 81-year-old George Henry, of Macon, according to a news release from the Warner Robins Police Department.

Moncrief was pronounced dead at the scene of the 9:44 p.m. accident, the release stated.

Officers do not suspect Henry was driving while impaired, but the accident is under investigation.
