A 16-year-old Macon boy was charged with aggravated sodomy Thursday after a 30-year-old woman reported he sexually assaulted her in the 4000 block of Robinson Road.

The woman told officers she was walking near the intersection of Napier Avenue and Robinson Road about 12:30 p.m. when the teenager started following her and fondling himself, showing his genitals, according to a Macon police report released Friday.

She told police she knocked on a door and the boy raped her on the porch of a house. Two people in the area witnessed the incident and helped the woman while the teen ran away, according to the report.

Police arrested the teen, whose name has not been released, after he led them on a short foot chase near Bond Street and Robinson Road, according to the report.

The teen was taken to a youth detention center, according to police.
