A gunman robbed Bass Cleaners, 5250 B. Riverside Drive, at about 3:20 p.m. Wednesday after asking for change to play video games in the back of the store, according to the Bibb County Sheriffs Office.
An employee said he bent down to get the money from behind the counter and a black man, who was 5 feet 10 inches tall with a goatee, pointed a gun at him. The gunman then demanded money and took about $400, according to an incident report released Friday.
The gunman, last seen wearing a black hooded jacket and black jeans, ran toward Wesleyan Drive, behind Dillards, according to the report.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the sheriffs office at 746-9441 or Macon Regional CrimeStoppers at (877) 68-CRIME.
