Macon police are investigating an armed robbery that took place Sunday evening at the Churchs Chicken restaurant, 1425 Georgia Ave., according to a police report.
Two armed men entered the restaurant, and the first gunman jumped over the counter and pointed a gun at an employee, telling her to move to the front of the store, while the second gunman stood watch. The gunman forced an employee to open the cash registers and stole the money. The two men then fled the scene.
No one was reported injured during the incident.
