Masked gunmen attempt to rob Macon man

Macon police responded to an attempted armed robbery Monday night on James Street, a police report said.

According to the report, the victim was grilling in his front yard when two men wearing ski masks approached. One of them drew a gun and demanded the victim’s money. The victim told police he shoved the gunman to the ground and ran inside his house. He told his wife to call the police. The masked men fled the scene on foot.
