High winds on Thursday night have caused downed trees on Pinecrest Road and General Winship Drive in Macon, as well as downed power lines on Upper River Road, according to the Macon Police Department.
In Jones County, as of 10:30 p.m., a downed tree was being removed near the junction of Ga. 49 and Ga. 18., according to a dispatcher with the Jones County Sheriff’s Office.
