Macon man robbed of $800 while walking to store

Macon police are investigating an armed robbery that took place Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Columbus Road and Montpelier Avenue, according to a police report.

The victim told officers he was walking to a store when a black Lincoln Town Car pulled up with two men inside. One of the men pointed a gun at the victim and demanded his money. The victim handed over $800 in cash and the car sped off.
