A Jones County man and woman were charged with marijuana cultivation Monday after authorities discovered a “sophisticated indoor marijuana grow” at 144 Ed Ethridge Road in Gray, according to a Jones County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Deputies seized 79 marijuana plants from the home of 33-year-old Leo Ross and his wife, 38-year-old Jessica Ross, according to the sheriff’s office.

Both were being held at the county jail Tuesday without bond, pending first appearance hearings, according to the release.
