A 32-year-old man was arrested Dec. 7 on allegations he stole air conditioner parts from an east Bibb County church, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. Travis Sentell Ford, of Jeffersonville Road, is charged with theft by deception, entering auto, criminal damage to property, burglary, five counts of theft by receiving and two counts of criminal trespass. He also is charged with a probation violation, according to a sheriff’s office news release. Seven air conditioning units were damaged during the Dec. 6 theft at Swift Creek Baptist Church, 4354 Jeffersonville Road, due to fans, compressors and coils being removed, according to the release.
