Eastbound lanes of Interstate-16 reopened shortly after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday after an earlier accident between mile markers 2 and 3.
At around 7:20 a.m., vehicles collided and blocked lanes near the bridge just past the Coliseum Drive exit in Bibb County.
A dense fog advisory was posted until 9 a.m. Tuesday.
