Dense fog advisory issued for Middle Georgia

Morning commuters should use extra caution due to dense fog in Middle Georgia.

The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory until 9 a.m. Tuesday as visibilities are a quarter of a mile or less.

The advisory includes the counties of Bibb, Baldwin, Crawford, Houston, Twiggs, Wilkinson, Johnson, Bleckley, Laurens, Dooly, Crisp, Pulaski, Wilcox, Macon, Peach and Jones.

Motorists are urged to slow down, use their headlights and leave plenty of distance between vehicles.
