Macon police are investigating at least two shootings that happened Monday evening, according to a news release from the Macon Police Department.

Shortly after 5 p.m., a man was shot in the thigh as he got out of his car in the 2400 block of Brevard Drive, which is a few blocks off Rocky Creek Road.

The victim told officers a home invader fired the shot from inside the man's home, but he did not see the shooter.

Just before 6:15 p.m., at least three people dodged bullets in a parking lot in the 3300 block of Sherry Drive, which intersects Rice Mill Road off of Pio Nono Avenue.

The news release states the victims said a red Lincoln Town Car with tinted windows and 22-inch rims drove by and people inside the car started shooting, hitting two of the victims' vehicles but missing the people.

Anyone with information in the shootings is urged to call Macon Regional CrimeStoppers at (877) 68CRIME.
