Police release suspect photos in Family Dollar armed robbery

Macon police released surveillance photos showing two men accused of robbing the Family Dollar on Hillcrest Boulevard on Nov. 30.

Macon police released surveillance images Monday of two suspects in a Friday night armed robbery at Family Dollar on Hillcrest Boulevard, according to a news release.

The release said two black males entered the store at 951 Hilcrest Blvd. at 8:45 p.m. , took money from the register and a bottle of Patron, then fled on foot onto Napier Avenue.

The first suspect was wearing all black, and the second suspect was wearing a black hoodie with light blue jeans. Both men had blue bandanas over their faces. The second suspect was about 5-foot-8; no height was given for the first suspect.
