Students in Monroe and Peach County schools will be dismissed early Friday to allow for safe travel to state playoff football games, school officials said.

Monroe County schools will dismiss at 12:30 p.m. Friday. Mary Persons High School will play at Ridgeland High School in Rossville, just south of the Georgia-Tennessee line.

Peach County middle schools will dismiss at noon, Peach County High School will dismiss at 12:30 p.m. and elementary schools will dismiss at 1 p.m.

Peach County High will play at North Hall High School in Gainesville.

Both games start at 7:30 p.m.
