What’s open, what’s not for Thanksgiving

Banks: American Pride Bank will close at 2 p.m. Friday. Capital City Bank and State Bank & Trust will close at 4 p.m. Friday. CB&T Bank of Middle Georgia will close at noon Friday. Colony Bank will close at 1 p.m. Friday. SunMark Community Bank will be closed Friday.

Government offices: Offices for the cities of Byron, Centerville, Forsyth, Fort Valley, Gray, Jeffersonville, Macon, Roberta and Warner Robins as well as offices for Bibb, Crawford, Houston, Jones, Peach, Monroe and Twiggs counties will be closed Friday. The Department of Family and Children Services and the labor department will be closed Friday. State courts will be closed Friday. Federal courts will be open Friday.

Garbage: Garbage routes in the cities of Byron, Centerville, Fort Valley, Perry and Warner Robins as well as Bibb, Crawford, Houston and Peach counties did not run Thursday and will run one day behind.

Garbage routes in Gray and Macon did not run Thursday but will run Friday.

Libraries in Houston and Peach counties will be closed Friday. The Middle Georgia Regional Library and branches will be open Friday.
