PERRY -- A 44-year-old Warner Robins woman has been indicted on one count of aggravated assault in connection with the Nov. 2 stabbing of a man outside her Parkway Drive home.

A Houston County grand jury returned the indictment Tuesday against Jacquelyn Denise Brooks.

Christopher Bernard Holt, 43, was treated and released from Houston Medical Center for a stab wound on his left side. Officers dispatched to the 1:38 a.m. incident found a bleeding Holt lying on his side, a Warner Robins police report stated.

Holt told police his friend, Brooks, stabbed him with a knife as they argued in her front yard. Brooks told police she was “just playing ... (and) didn’t mean for him to get hurt,” according to the report.
