Macon shooting spurred by Facebook posts

A 28-year-old Macon man is being held at the Bibb County jail on an allegation he shot another man in the knee about 9:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Jermarr Terrance Paulding, of Nisbet Drive, is accused of shooting 18-year-old JosQuan Stubbs in the 700 block of Central Avenue after an argument sparked by Facebook posts, according to a Macon police report released Wednesday.

Witnesses told police they saw Paulding shoot Stubbs. Paulding is charged with aggravated assault.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call police at 751-7500 or Macon Regional CrimeStoppers at (877) 68-CRIME.
