WARNER ROBINS -- Warner Robins City Council will not have Thursday precouncil meetings in November as previously planned.
Precouncil meetings were on the citys online calendar for Nov. 15 and Nov. 29, and Councilman Mike Brashear said last month the meetings would provide work sessions to the councilmen. However, the meetings have disappeared from the citys online calendar.
Councilman Daron Lee said he was never aware the meetings were planned, and Brashear did not respond to a message for comment.
Ruby Hamb-Holmes, spokeswoman for the city, said she was never made aware of any Thursday precouncil meetings.
Council meetings are typically held on the first and third Monday of the month. Precouncil meetings used to be held the prior Thursday, but council moved them this summer to the same Monday as the regular council meeting.
Brashear said last month council members wanted more time to review some items, so two Thursday precouncil meetings were planned for November.
