4 masked men rob Houston Avenue store in Macon

Macon police are looking for four masked men who held up the King’s Food Mart at 2765 Houston Ave. about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.

A witness alerted officers about the robbery at the corner of Hightower Road, which is about a tenth of a mile down the street from the police precinct.

Yellow crime scene tape roped off the parking lot as officers questioned the clerk.

The suspects are described as black males, who were dressed in black and had their faces covered.

They were last seen running down Hightower Road.
