ATHENS - After a season full of night games, Georgia is finishing the regular season with a couple afternoon games against in-state foes.
Georgia Tech's visit to Athens on Nov. 24 will kick off at noon, it was announced on Monday. The game will be televised by ESPN.
Georgia has played nine straight games that started either at night or at 3:30 p.m. But Saturday's home game against Georgia Southern kicks off at 1:30 p.m., and will be televised by WSB-TV in Atlanta.
Georgia Tech (5-5 overall, 4-3 in the ACC) hosts Duke on Saturday, and the Yellow Jackets have a chance to clinch the ACC Coastal Division. They're coming off a 68-50 win at North Carolina that set a school record for points in an ACC game, and the ACC record for total points in a game between ACC teams.
Georgia has defeated Georgia Tech three straight times, and 10 out of the past 11 games.
