A part of Arkwright Road will be shut down Saturday at Interstate 75, which will also have a lane closed.
The Georgia Department of Transportation said Friday that work on the interstate bridge at Arkwright Road will leave the road closed between 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. while new bridge beams are put in place.
One lane of Interstate 75 southbound at Arkwright Road is scheduled to be closed between noon and 6 p.m.
The state agency said motorists will be detoured to exits 167 and 171 -- Pierce Avenue and Riverside Drive -- while the work is being performed.
