Teen shot in Warner Robins identified

WARNER ROBINS -- The identity of a 19-year-old shot in the face Wednesday afternoon in Warner Robins has been released.

Aeren Ledbetter of Centerville was shot in the cheek by another man in a McArthur Boulevard home, a Warner Robins news release stated. The shooter then fled. Ledbetter remained in stable condition at The Medical Center of Central Georgia, the release stated.

The incident happened at 3:49 p.m. in the 600 block of McArthur Boulevard. Preliminary investigation indicated the suspect went up to the residence, went inside the door and fired shots, said Tabitha Pugh, public information officer for Warner Robins police.

A description of the suspect was not available.

“I have very limited details at this point,” she said.
