Macon man robbed by group of men

Macon police are investigating an armed robbery that took place Friday night on Houston Avenue, in which several subjects beat the victim with a gun, according to a police report.

According to the report, the victim was walking toward his home when four men started to follow him. One of them drew a handgun and demanded his money. He then hit the victim in the face with the gun, busting his nose and lip. The victim gave them his wallet, leather jacket and groceries. The men left the scene and the victim went to his house to call 911.
