The orientation for families gave them a chance to meet teachers, counselors and staff, go over discipline procedures, dress code and school hours. Cooke with be starting 1st grade at Bibb Academy of Excellence at Barden Monday. Bibb County opens its alternative school for elementary students at Barden with an initial enrollment of 21 students.
