WARNER ROBINS -- A 44-year-old Warner Robins woman has been charged with aggravated assault, accused of stabbing a man early Friday outside her Parkway Drive home.

Jacquelyn Denise Brooks was being held Friday night at the Houston County jail, online jail records show.

Christopher Bernard Holt, 43, of Warner Robins, was stabbed in his left side and was taken to Houston Medical Center for treatment, according to a Warner Robins police report.

Officers dispatched at 1:38 a.m. found a bleeding Holt lying on his side, the report said. Holt told the officers that his friend, Brooks, had stabbed him as they were arguing in her front yard.

One of the officers applied pressure to the wound until an ambulance arrived. Two other officers talked with Brooks, the report stated.

She told officers she “just playing ... (and) didn’t mean for him to get hurt,” according to the report.
