Crawford County sheriff’s officials are investigating a fatal Thursday-evening hunting shooting north of Musella near the Monroe County line.
A 22-year-old man out deer hunting was killed just south of Lindsey Road, which runs between U.S. 341 and Ga. 42.
Crawford Coroner Allen O’Neal said the shooting happened “right at dark.”
The victim’s name wasn’t being released pending notification of kin.
