Famed chef Nathalie Dupree to visit Macon

Nathalie Dupree, who gained fame as a TV chef and cookbook author, is coming to Macon Nov. 13.

According to Historic Macon, at 11 a.m., Dupree will host “Nathalie’s Biscuit Bash,” a master class where participants learn how to make Southern and specialty biscuits. At 5:30 p.m., Dupree will offer “tips for quick and easy Thanksgiving preparation.” Both events are at the Blacksmith Shop, 665 Poplar St.

Advance reservations are required for the biscuit class, which costs $75 before Tuesday and $85 afterward. For reservations, go to www.historicmacon.org/nathalie-dupree or call (478) 742-5084.

Admission for the 5:30 p.m. event is $10 for Historic Macon members and $15 for non-members at the door.
