Macon ties record high temperature; cool weather ahead

Come next week, Thursday’s record-tying high of 86 will be but a memory.

On the way is the coldest air of the season so far.

Middle Georgia will see a shift to cooler than normal temperatures with highs forecast in the 60s and overnight lows in the mid- to upper 30s Monday through Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
