Motorists headed south on Interstate 75 in Monroe County could encounter lane closures Friday.
Crews will be making emergency repairs in the pavement at mile marker 188 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Friday.
Two outside lanes are expected to be closed for the work near Ga. 42, according to a news release from the Georgia Department of Transportation.
