Warner Robins man accused of robbing gym at gun point

A Warner Robins man has been charged with armed robbery after allegedly breaking into a Kinetix Health Club and pulling a gun on an employee, police said. William Tanner Peachey, 21, also faces charges of theft by receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance, according to an Oct. 19 news release. Police responded to the gym, located at 3035 Watson Blvd., at about 2 a.m. Oct. 18. A female employee told police she found a man stealing money in one of the offices, and he pointed a gun at her and ran away, the release states. Peachey was identified as the suspect and was later arrested at a Days Inn and Suites on Margie Drive, said police spokeswoman Tabitha Pugh.

Police responded to the gym, located at 3035 Watson Blvd., at about 2 a.m. Thursday. A female employee told police she found a man stealing money in one of the offices, and he pointed a gun at her and ran away, the release states.

Peachey was identified as the suspect and was later arrested at a Days Inn and Suites on Margie Drive, said police spokeswoman Tabitha Pugh.

Houston County Sheriff’s investigators also charged Peachey in relation to eight burglaries and one entering auto case, the release stated.

Peachey is being held without bond at the Houston County jail.
