ADVANCE VOTING
In Bibb County, advance voting takes place at the Macon-Bibb County Board of Elections office, 2445 Pio Nono Ave., from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays through Nov. 2, the Friday before the General Election. There is also Saturday voting from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 27.
In Houston County, there are three sites for advance voting: the Houston County Board of Elections, 801 Main St. in Perry; the Houston County Annex Building, 200 Carl Vinson Parkway in Warner Robins; and Middle Georgia Technical College, 80 Cohen Walker Drive in Warner Robins.
At the board of elections, voting takes place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays until Nov. 2. There is also Saturday voting from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 27. At the Houston County Annex Building, voting takes place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays from Oct. 22 through Nov. 2. At Middle Georgia Technical College, voters may cast their ballots from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays from Oct. 22 through Nov. 2. There is no Saturday voting at the Houston County Annex Building and Middle Georgia Technical College.
To cast their ballot, registered voters need to take an acceptable form of ID with them to the polls. Acceptable ID for voting include:
Georgia drivers license, even if expired;
Any valid state or federal government-issued photo ID, including voter ID cards issued by the county registrars office or the Department of Driver Services;
Valid U.S. passport;
Valid federal or state employee photo ID;
Valid military photo ID;
Valid tribal ID.
