There's never a good time during a football season to step away, even a bye week. Especially during this bye week, following a game that has led to a lot of questions, concerns and stories worthy of being done.
But unfortunately I do have to take my leave for this week, due to a mandatory furlough. I won't be able to check this site, e-mail or Twitter, which also means no mailbag, picks column or regular coverage. I apologize to those of you who have already sent in mailbag questions. Please hold on to them for a week, if at all possible.
However, the UGA sports coverage will continue this week, and the blog will be maintained, both by my colleagues in the home offices, and our contributor Luke Dixon in Athens.
As for me, I'll be back next week, hopefully a bit refreshed, and ready to cover the final half of Georgia's regular season. Talk to you then.
