Cotton Avenue businesses in Macon have joined together for a Cotton Avenue Block Party on Friday.

The party will be 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will feature the band, Danger Zone, to entertain as open houses will be held at businesses and lofts, according to a news release.

The new Cotton Avenue Lofts, developed by Tony Widner, will be showcased at 377 Cotton Ave. The six new lofts are in the final phases of construction. The one-bedroom units feature “Juliet” style balconies, upgraded finishes and reclaimed hardwood floors.
