Road work originally planned for this week has been postponed to next week in north Bibb County.
The Georgia Department of Transportation reports crews will be closing a lane as they work on both sides of Riverside Drive near the Interstate 75 ramps.
The contractor is expecting to work on Ga. 87 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. if weather permits Monday through Friday.
Motorists are urged to slow down through the work zone.
