Friday September 28

Josh Graff & Co. at the Hummingbird Stage and Taproom

Josh Graff has come a long ways since the days when he used to play the frat party scene around Middle Georgia. Now, he’s following his passion of playing blues guitar. His live shows are full of well picked covers from blues greats such as Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, B.B. King and others, as well as some of his originals. It seems to be working because the name Josh Graff is becoming heard regularly when Macon music is talked about. If you enjoy the blues, this show is for you. 21 and up. 10 p.m. $5.

Cole Swindell at the Cox Capitol Theatre

Cole Swindell comes from Bronwood, and if you know anything about country music, you know the best always comes from a small town. Swindell will be performing Friday at a benefit for Jay’s Hope, an organization dedicated to making life better for children with cancer. There also will be a raffle for an iPad and a Big Green Egg. All ages are welcome. Event starts at 7 p.m. $10 admission includes one raffle ticket.

Saturday September 29

They also will have a silent auction from 8-10 p.m. And, as if that weren’t enough excitement, the mack-daddy of ’80s cover bands, Echospeed, will be providing the tunes for a night of flashback fun. 21 and up. 10 p.m. $5.
