WARNER ROBINS -- The Warner Robins Redevelopment Agency board unanimously voted during a called meeting Wednesday to swap a land lot Georgia Military College purchased two months ago for another neighboring lot.
Warren Faircloth, a board member, said the school was unable to use one of three lots in the original purchase agreement. The board swapped the lot with one on the other side of the remaining two.
There was no price difference between the old lot, at 114 Prince St., and the new lot, at 109 Prince St., The other two purchased lots are at 111 and 113 Prince St.
Macon-based 107 Prince Street LLC, owned by developer Randy Smith, agreed to pay $135,000 for the three neighboring properties in Village at Town Center. Georgia Military College will rent the property.
It will be used for a new parking lot for the Warner Robins location and future expansion.
