A car careened into a Pio Nono Avenue convenience store Wednesday morning.
The woman driver told Macon police she got dizzy and tried to pull off Mercer University Drive when she hit a pole and smashed into the Marathon station at 1800 Pio Nono Ave.
Store owner Hyun Choi said he was working the cash register when he heard a crash at about 8:40 a.m.
The Nissan Altima did not break through the building, but dented the metal wall and knocked an air compressor off its foundation.
Inside the store, the impact knocked security camera monitors and a clock off the wall and shifted furniture in the office.
The airbags deployed in the front seat of the car and the driver did not appear to be seriously hurt.
An ambulance crew checked her at the scene.
