An amusement center may be headed to Riverside Drive in Macon.
A conditional-use application for 3096 Riverside Drive to allow an amusement facility is on the agenda for Mondays Macon-Bibb County Planning & Zoning Commission meeting. The location is near the John Drew Smith Tennis Center.
The 2,700-square-foot center would include a pool room, game room with darts, television, Internet service, Wii games and skill machines, according to the commissions staff report. Prepackaged food would be sold, such as soft drinks, candy, crackers and chips; however, no alcohol is proposed at this time.
The facility would operate 11 a.m.-midnight, but the report does not state what days of the week it would be open. The meeting begins at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Macon City Hall, 700 Poplar St.
