The third annual Joshuas Walk will be held in Macon Saturday to raise money for a cure for pediatric brain cancer.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. at Mercer Universitys Walter F. George School of Law. The run/walk starts at 9 a.m. Registration is $20 and includes a commemorative T-shirt.

Amandas Cakery, at 321 Cotton Ave., has made special cupcakes in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September. All proceeds from those sales through Sept. 22 benefit Joshuas Wish. Also, all profits from Chilis locations on Sept. 24 will benefit St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, according to Joshuas Wish.
Cancer survivor Hannah Renee Layfield will be singing the national anthem again at this years walk and her mother, Tammy, will share Hannahs story.
