WWII veterans to be honored at luncheon

World War II veterans will be honored at a free appreciation luncheon Nov. 8 at the VFW Post 6605 Hall at 1011 Corder Road.

The luncheon’s theme is “We Will Never Forget” and is sponsored by Service for Service. It will feature a free meal for World War II veterans, entertainment, door prizes, guest speakers and more.

World War II veterans are invited to attend. The luncheon is from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. To R.S.V.P. or for more information, contact Kathryn Carver at 955-1687.
