A gunman wearing a Halloween costume robbed X-Mart, 2025 Emery Highway, at about 4:20 a.m. Thursday, according to the Bibb County Sheriffs Office.
The man brandished a gun and demanded money from the cash register. He left after getting an undisclosed amount of money, according to a sheriffs office news release.
No one was injured.
The gunman is described as being 6 feet, 2-inches tall black man who weighs about 160 pounds. The costume is described as being a long black hooded robe that covered most of the gunmans body. He also wore a bandana covering his face, according to the release.
The robbery was the second at the business in the past month, said sheriffs Sgt. Sean DeFoe.
