Mary Persons running back Nick Davis is the fans’ choice for The Telegraph Player of the Week after he rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Jones County. Davis returned a kickoff for a touchdown as well. Davis earned 254 votes to edge out Westfield’s Ty Forrester, who finished with 224 votes.

It was the first time four players received more than 150 votes, with FPD’s Will Black and Stratford’s Ken Spears also finishing with more than 150 votes. Johnson County’s Robkevious Norris and Northside’s Keshun Hill both had more than 80 votes.
