Anyone planning a reunion has an opportunity to learn more about making it a success.

The Macon-Bibb County Convention & Visitors Bureau is hosting a free reunion workshop 9 a.m.-11 a.m., Sept. 22 at the Holiday Inn Macon North, 3953 River Place Drive, according to a news release.

The workshop would help anyone planning a family, class, military or fraternal reunion.

Attendees will learn how to map out a reunion plan, set up committees, promote the reunion, create a budget and locate vendors, the release stated. The workshop will also include a genealogy segment with guest speaker Muriel Jackson from Washington Memorial Library in Macon.
