ST. LOUIS - Georgia fans are already starting to take over Missouri - but there is still a limit.
As I was walking off my plane in St. Louis, two of the many Georgia fans on my flight greeted each other in the customary way.
"Go Dawgs!"
"Go Dawgs!"
As the first fan got to the front, the pilot looked at him and smiled.
"Go Tigers."
But it's still quite an impressive array of red and black in these parts. Missouri is quickly getting to know its new SEC friends.
There are various estimates on how many Georgia fans will be in the Show-Me State to show their support for the Bulldogs. But at least 10,000 seems about right.
It recalls the trip to Colorado in 2010, when locals were shocked at how much red and black invaded Boulder. Missouri isn't a non-conference game, but it feels like it, at least this first time around.

Mailbag: Yes it's June, let's talk football anyway
