Houston teacher wins $100,000

A Houston County high school teacher has won $100,000 playing the lottery.

Hope Fordham of Macon won the prize from the instant game Big Bucks. She bought the winning ticket Aug. 30 at Quick Mart, 700 N. Davis Drive, Warner Robins, according to a news release.

Fordham plans to use the money to pay off bills, the release states.
