East Macon residents could see a disruption in electricity after a vehicle crashed into a utility pole early Friday morning.

Recreation Road at Lakeshore Drive is expected to be closed until after 12:30 p.m. Friday as utility crews make repairs.

At about 6:20 a.m., a woman reported a loud crash and people moaning in her front yard due to the accident with injuries near Masseyville Road.

Macon-Bibb firefighters reported a small fire at the scene near Recreation Road and Lakeshore Drive.

The injured occupants were removed from the vehicle, but no information was immediately available about their condition.
