Edna Mitchell, a bus driver for 27 years, kicks the tires on her bus Tuesday as a part of her pre-trip checklist near the end of the first day of school in Peach County. Peach County students went back three weeks late so that $8 million worth of system wide heating and cooling improvements could be made. The system is also moving back to a 5 day school week.
