Macon police investigate shots fired at Log Cabin Drive apartments

Macon police are investigating shots fired at multiple apartments in the 4600 block of Log Cabin Drive Wednesday evening, according to a police report.

The report said officers responded to a call after 7 p.m. at the apartments. Several witnesses told officers they heard five to seven shots.

Officers found three shell casings at the scene, as well as bullet holes in three apartments, two of which were occupied at the time of the shooting. None of the witnesses saw who fired the shots.
