Baldwin County deputies are looking for the thief who made a fast getaway with a stolen drag racing car and an antique motorcycle.
A blue 1968 Camaro and a 1948 Harley-Davidson panhead motorcycle were taken from a residence on Snyder Road in the eastern part of the county between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Wednesday, said Capt. Brad King of the Baldwin County Sheriffs Office.
The owner returned home and noticed another vehicle had been moved near the garage, King said. He went in and found his drag racer and antique motorcycle were gone.
A neighbor reported hearing the race car start up, he said.
The vehicles have an estimated value of about $80,000.
Anyone with information is urged to call Lt. Bobby Langford at (478) 445-4893.
